This 21-day Manaslu Circuit & Tsum Valley Trek with Trek Me Nepal is not just a trek but a deeply immersive experience into one of the most untouched and remote regions of the Himalayas.
From the vibrant streets of Kathmandu to the mystical valleys below the eighth highest mountain in the world, this journey unfolds a narrative of nature, culture, and pure exploration.
As you land in Kathmandu, the spiritual and cultural energy of Nepal surrounds you. The journey begins with UNESCO heritage sites, Buddhist stupas, and Hindu temples, offering a glimpse into the vibrant traditions that make Nepal so enchanting.
But the real adventure begins once you leave the city and drive deep into the wild foothills of the Himalayas. The trail leads you through ancient villages, hanging bridges, deep river gorges, and dense forests of pine and rhododendron.
You pass through Jagat, Lokpa, and into the secret realm of the Tsum Valley, a sacred land rarely touched by time. Here, the mountains whisper stories of ancient Tibetan traditions, and monasteries like Mu Gumba stand as silent witnesses to centuries of devotion.
Winding through Chumling, Chhokang Paro, and Nile, you’ll breathe the high-altitude air and feel the sheer wonder of being surrounded by Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal, and Himalchuli.
Time seems to slow down in these forgotten valleys, where every step forward is a glimpse into another world — a world of sacred chants, smiling villagers, grazing yaks, and fluttering prayer flags.
Rejoining the Manaslu Circuit trail, your trek continues to Namrung, Lho, Sama Gaun, and eventually to Samdo, where the terrain becomes raw and the air even thinner. You walk in the shadows of Mount Manaslu (8,163 m), her presence always looming, commanding awe and reverence.
The pinnacle of the journey is the crossing of the legendary Larkya-La Pass (5,106 m), a moment of triumph, challenge, and pure Himalayan bliss. As you take in the sweeping panoramas of Annapurna II, Himlung Himal, and glacial valleys below, your heart races not just from the altitude but from the emotion of conquering one of Nepal’s greatest trekking feats.
Descending towards Bimthang and Tilche, the landscapes shift once more from snow to stone to green pastures and fertile hillsides. You’ll pass through rhododendron forests and traditional Gurung settlements, eventually driving back to Kathmandu, where your unforgettable journey began.
This is not just a trek but a soulful odyssey crafted for those who seek raw Himalayan beauty, cultural authenticity, and the satisfaction of conquering one of the world’s most stunning trails.
As you sit down for your farewell dinner in the capital city, you’ll realize the photographs and memories you’ve captured are just small fragments of what you’re truly taking home — a deeper understanding of yourself, a reverence for nature, and the unshakable joy of having walked through one of the last true wildernesses on Earth.
Trek Me Nepal welcomes you to not just explore Nepal but to experience it, one step at a time.
A trek in the Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley is an exhilarating journey through Nepal's remote and solitary regions.

And if you feel like it, you can take a second option — a longer challenge — where you reach Manaslu Base Camp. Whichever activity you choose to take, you will return to Sama after mid-day, rest, and bask in the natural beauty of the place.
